On March 23, 2026, Suzhou's textile associations met to approve reports and new charters. Reps from Baosheng and Weifang discussed tech innovation and industry growth to drive regional excellence.

The 4th Council Meeting of the Suzhou Textile Industry Association and the 12th Council Meeting of the Suzhou Textile Engineering Society were held on March 23, 2026, in the conference room on the second floor of the Shuxiang Hotel (Dushu Lake Branch).
The assembly adopted the 2025 Annual Work Report, the 2025 Financial Report, and the 2025 Supervisory Report, all presented by President Tang Xinhong.
The assembly also approved the *Charter for the Science and Technology Awards of the Suzhou Textile Engineering Society*, as well as various related institutional regulations for both the Association and the Society. Additionally, new members were officially admitted.
The assembly featured a series of exchange presentations delivered by: Xia Dihu, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Changshu Textile and Garment Association; Xu Lei, Party Branch Secretary of the School of Textile, Garment, and Media Arts at the Suzhou Vocational Institute of Trade and Economy; and Dr. Yang Junhui, Chief Engineer at Suzhou Polyidi Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Finally, Guan Jinping, Vice Dean of the School of Textile and Garment Engineering at Soochow University, delivered an academic report titled: "The Current Status and Reflections on Technological Innovation in the Textile Industry."
Shen Hongbo, a representative from Baosheng Company, attended the assembly and delivered remarks in his capacity as a Supervisor for the Suzhou Textile Engineering Society; similarly, Qian Xiangdong, a representative from Weifang Company, attended and spoke as the Secretary-General of the Suzhou Textile Industry Association. Baosheng Company representatives Shan Peidi and Wang Guchen also attended the assembly.
