Changqiao Subdistrict CPPCC & Wuzhong CAPD Host Heatwave Relief Campaign

Amidst the persistent high temperatures of summer, frontline sanitation workers have remained steadfast at their posts to ensure the city continues to function smoothly. On the morning of July 30, the CPPCC Working Committee of Changqiao Subdistrict initiated a campaign to offer support and care to workers during the heatwave. The "Kaiming" Business Community Liaison Association of the Wuzhong Chapter of the China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD) actively responded to the call, and leaders from our company joined in to deliver cooling supplies and express their appreciation to the sanitation workers serving the area.

 

At the event, the delegation distributed bottled water and heat-relief supplies to the workers one by one. They engaged in cordial conversations, inquiring in detail about work schedules and heat protection measures during high-temperature operations. They repeatedly urged the workers to balance work with rest, adjust their routines sensibly, and prioritize personal safety. As a practical initiative by the Changqiao Subdistrict CPPCC Working Committee to leverage the resources of democratic parties, this event was supported by the Wuzhong CAPD "Kaiming" Business Community Liaison Association. Through these tangible actions, the participants paid tribute to outdoor workers and added a vivid, practical dimension to the Wuzhong CAPD’s "Kaiming: Serving the People Wholeheartedly" social service brand.
