The Party branch organized a study session on excerpts.

On August 20, 2026, the Party branch organized a study session on excerpts from "Xi Jinping's Excerpts on Grassroots Work Methods." The "Excerpts" systematically summarizes grassroots work methods rich in theoretical significance and practical value. Some core methods include:

1. In-depth Investigation and Research: Investigation and research are the Party's invaluable asset and a fundamental skill for effective grassroots work. The book emphasizes that "without investigation, there is no right to speak, let alone the right to make decisions." Party members and cadres must not only physically immerse themselves in the grassroots but also mentally connect with them. Through methods such as on-site investigations and detailed analysis, they must understand the real situation and the true meaning, using investigation and research as the foundation for planning and the path to success.

2. Promoting the "Nail-Driving" Spirit: Grassroots work is multifaceted and complex; effective implementation requires the "nail-driving" spirit. This means having a grand vision, identifying key areas, concentrating resources on the most pressing issues, and focusing efforts precisely. Simultaneously, it requires persistent effort, maintaining tenacity and long-termism; a good blueprint must be implemented continuously until the nails are firmly driven in.

This book profoundly elucidates that the grassroots level is the foundation of the Party's governance, the source of its strength, and the starting point for all its work. It scientifically answers major theoretical and practical questions such as what constitutes the grassroots, how to go deep into the grassroots, and how to serve the grassroots. It has significant guiding significance for establishing a clear orientation towards prioritizing grassroots work, practicing a correct view of performance, and following the Party's mass line in the new era.
